Process Validation adds stability to...
6/24/2014
The method Protomatic uses to create a stable manufacturing process is based on multiple industrial requirements. However, we mainly use the medical industry process for validation.
Protomatic initiated a new “Employee Engagement” program in the fall of 2013. This program is focused on helping employees understand Protomatic’s guiding principles while providing insight into their “whats and whys.”
Protomatic has nearly completed the process of becoming ISO13485:2003 certified for medical component manufacturing. We have had an ISO9001 certification since 1998, which has ensured you of getting high quality products delivered on schedule.
Protomatic has expanded capacity since being identified by the State of Michigan Innostate Program as one of 30 companies positioned to help entrepreneurs take product concepts into prototypes and low-volume manufacturing.
There is nothing like the need to add more capacity and we at Protomatic thank all of our customers for helping us grow. To continue providing top-quality customer service, we recently added a new Mazak Quick Turn (manufactured in USA) to our arsenal.
Protomatic is honored to have been selected as an inaugural InnoState Innovation Realization firm. InnoState is a three-year project funded by the State of Michigan and five federal agencies.
I’ve always felt that there was a big difference between what a company does and why they do it. It seemed that the passion we put into our work at Protomatic was every bit as important as the precision CNC components we produced.
Today’s newsletter is the first in a series of “Behind the Scenes” considerations when hiring a machine shop. This series will focus on important aspects to think about when choosing the right shop for a specific project.
Protomatic’s goal is to maintain the highest level of quality in the parts manufactured, assuring that the criteria for “Life-Saving Precision” are always met.
Protomatic has recently become aware of potential problems associated with Conflict Minerals in the supply chain and would like you to know how we approach this issue.
